The Senior Adult Ministry (SAM) is a lively and welcoming community that offers an array of activities designed for seniors and those who cherish their company. With a diverse lineup, SAM ensures there's always something engaging for everyone. From the enriching "A Movie & A Meal" series to the excitement of game nights and delicious catfish outings, participants can enjoy a variety of experiences. Events are conveniently scheduled at 2:00 PM, allowing attendees to return home before nightfall. With most events costing just $10 per person, SAM provides exceptional value, fostering camaraderie and enjoyment without breaking the bank. As the seasons change, SAM hosts special gatherings like the Adult Sunday School Roundup and the festive Adult Sunday School Christmas Party, creating cherished memories and deepening community bonds.
The Adult Sunday School Class, led by Sandra J. Marshall, offers a comprehensive exploration of biblical teachings, utilizing the Adult Sunday School quarterly as a guide. When Sandie is unavailable, Randall Whitehurst and Becky Gibbs step in to ensure continuity. The class delves into a wide range of topics, from detailed studies on the life of Jesus and prominent biblical figures to contemporary cultural issues such as pornography, abortion, and homosexuality. Sandie enriches each lesson with a diverse array of resources, including Bible commentaries, various Bible translations and paraphrases, and online materials. Her approach is to make the lessons accessible and relatable, translating complex theological concepts into everyday language that resonates with all participants.

Sandie Marshall is a remarkable woman with a rich and varied career dedicated to education and ministry. With two master's degrees in Special Education, she has been a passionate advocate for integrating children on the Autism spectrum into mainstream classrooms, demonstrating her commitment to inclusivity and empowerment. Her journey of faith began during a revival in the mid-70s, an event marked by a memorable and almost symbolic experience. Her deep spirituality has undoubtedly influenced her role as the Senior Adult Ministries coordinator for 14 years and an Adult Sunday School teacher for 12 years, where her guidance and wisdom have touched many lives. Sandie's personal life was enriched by her 52-year marriage to Farrell Marshall, a partnership that ended with his passing in early 2024. Now, navigating life as a widow, she finds support in her two children, Joshua and Tiffany, who help her manage the day-to-day challenges. Sandie's story is one of resilience, faith, and dedication to both her family and her community.

Welcome to Crystal Hill Assembly of God! We are Jeff and Karen Willis, and we are delighted to share the vibrant community activities we offer, particularly for our Senior Adult Ministries. Our church is a welcoming space for families and individuals of all ages, with an array of engaging activities throughout the week. Join us on Sunday mornings at 9:00 AM for breakfast and fellowship, followed by Sunday School at 9:30 AM. Our Morning Worship, featuring Kids' Church, begins at 10:30 AM. Midweek, we invite you to a family meal on Wednesday nights from 5:15 PM to 6:15 PM, followed by a variety of enriching programs: MidWeek Bible Study for adults, Youth activities for teenagers, and Junior Bible Quiz (JBQ) for elementary-age children starting at 6:30 PM. Having served as pastors since August 2024, we bring a wealth of experience from our pastoral work in Oklahoma and Louisiana, as well as Jeff's missionary service overseas. Jeff holds master's degrees in both special education and Theology, while Karen has a master's in music education. We look forward to welcoming you into our community and growing together in faith and fellowship.
